LPYC Storage Locker Cleanup July 2024
After the spring floods which flooded the marina and storage rooms, it was decided to clean out the storage locker and check for damaged or unusable items. Brent, Nat, and Lynn tackled the task of dragging out all the stuff, cleaning the locker, and going through all the things and inventory the items. The only casualties were some decorations in the bottom tote which filled up with lake water from the flood. Thanks to the members that tackled this unpleasant task!

Spring Fling Cup Race and Dock Party 2024
Forecast high winds and gusty conditions deterred some participants this year. With that in mind, the 2024 course was shortened to remain in Saline Bay which is somewhat protected from the gusty south winds.Brent Boyle on his Beneteau 35 and Lynn Easley on his San Juan 24 participated in the race. On corrected time, Lynn took first place, with Brent finishing in second place.

Afterwards John Springer cooked up burgers on the Notta-Yacht barge. Which turned out to be a pleasant evening to hang out on.
