Fall 2023 Edition

News!

Well, I think we survived another summer it Texas, certainly was a hot one. But with cooler fall weather its time to get out and get active again.

Of course some of our members didn't stick around to enjoy the summer heat. We hope to hear stories from the Springer's on how cold it was on the Great Lakes (Just kidding!) They don't know what they missed here!

With the cooler and more sedate weather of fall, activities pick up at the club.

Some of the upcoming activities are the scheduled Saturday races on Saturday October 7th, and October 21. On October 14th Peter and Luba Pitonak will be hosting a social gathering at their residence. Be sure to check out their email and posting on FaceBook for all the details.

November features the Steve Herber Fall Turkey regatta and dock party. Details to follow later.

And of course don't forget to look up to gaze at the the full Harvest Moon Thursday and Friday. Of course the name comes from the extra light provided to farmers to get their harvest in before winter back in the days before artificial lights.

The Knotta-Yachta barge sustained some minor damage to one of the corner posts in the recent storms, but it will be patched back up shortly.
