Officer and Director Reports.

John Springer – Lake Tyler Yacht club will have their Spring Regatta on May 4th. The Fall Regatta series isn’t usually set until later in the year. Volunteers to help for their series is always welcomed.

Rich Munson – The Christmas dinner might have to be scheduled for a Friday night instead of the usual Saturday night due to weddings. Possibly December 6th or December 13th.

Rick Walker – Ron McKay asked to borrow the pontoon trailer to move his boat, no objections. Rick also mentioned the Shady Brook clubhouse could be rented for $50 a day as a possible location to have some events at. Has a refrigerator and a microwave. Food could also be catered in as the club did with the Emerald Bay clubhouse.

Chuck Brazell – Proposed having an Intro to Sailing day to introduce new people to sailing. Possible concerns with liability, but that applies to all the clubs activities.

Ben Hooks – Suggesting looking into acquiring an auto race timer. Simplifies keeping track of the times of racers, and with the starting events for a race.
