MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
Present at meeting: Rick Walker, Chuck Brazell, Ben Hooks, Steve Lowe, and Lynn Easley.
Call to order by Rick Walker.

The minutes were presented by Lynn Easley.
Motion to accept by Steve Lowe, seconded by Rick Walker.
Financial Report
Receipts:
Receipts through March 11, 2020 were $1,700.00, which consists of current dues from seventeen members so far.
Disbursements:
Disbursements for 2020 through March 11 were $1,217.42 for operations as follows:
1. $568.31 Socials – Annual Meeting.
2. $385.00 Storage Locker Rent .
3. $100.00 Slip Rental for Barge.
4. $80.00 Post Office Box Rent.
5. $84.11 Trophies/Awards.
Surplus:
For operations, receipts exceeded disbursements resulting in an operating surplus of $482.58. No capital funds were expended.
General Comments:
The cash balance as of March 11 is $15,579.61. The cash balance one year ago was $15,859.60.
Motion to accept Treasury report by Steve Lowe, seconded by Ben Hooks.
Officer and Director Reports.
Rick Walker – In the past, individual members have bought trophies and, or gifts for the out going Commodore. The club should pay for such items in the future. Such items should cost no more than $100.00. Motion to add $100.00 budget item for outgoing Commodore awards proposed by Ben Hooks, seconded by Steve Lowe with none opposed.
Lynn Easley – Final review of new amendments before posting to the club’s website, and members.
Old Business
Slip Waiting List:
No current change, although two boats are currently for sale, and one member has two boats in slips currently.

Mast Hoist at Marina :
Next time that boat lift/dock company is in the area, they will take a look at the mast hoist. Being it would most likely require the use of their barge, it makes sense to wait till they are in the area to save on expenses. The mast is usable for for the smaller boats.
New Business
Upcoming Events:
Chuck Brazell had some questions about the upcoming events, specifically the Spring Cup Fun Race. The Wednesday Evening Sails are starting up, but with the weather and corona virus, they will be a day by day thing. The Third Friday Social has been canceled for this month.
