MONTHLY MEETING MINUTES
Present at meeting: Ashley Tackett, Ben Hooks, Peter Pitonak, Steve Lowe, Rich Munson, and Lynn Easley.

Present Minutes from last meeting
The minutes were presented by Lynn Easley.
The minutes were accepted by acclimation.
Financial Report
The financial report was presented by Steve Lowe.
No change from last months report.
Receipts:
Receipts through June 17th were $1,945.00, which are dues from twenty members and the purchase of a bur-gee and a ball cap. Note $100.00 of 2023 dues were received from a member in the prior year.
Disbursements:
Disbursements through June 17th were $1,269.57 and are summarized as follows.
Disbursements:
$548.09 Social – Membership Meeting and Spring Cup dock Party.
$450.00 Storage Locker.
$126.17 Phone.
$100.00 Barge Slip Rental.
$40.46 Equipment – Dock Lines and Stanchions for Notta Yachta.
$4.85 Copies.
Surplus/Deficit:
L.P.Y.C. has a cash surplus for the year of $675.43.
General Comments:
The cash balance at June 17th, 2023 is $17,001.54.
After a lively discussion on expensive hot dogs, the financial report was accepted.
Officer and Director Reports.
Ashley Tackett – Suggested True Vines Brewing Company as a location for the July 21st Third Friday Social.
Ben Hooks – Retrieved the Spring Cup Trophy and will give it to Ashley Tackett to get winners name engraved on to it, and to be presented to Jim Stevenson, the winner of this year’s Spring Cup.
Lynn Easley – Suggested having another summer luncheon similar to last years.
Old Business
Slip Waiting List:
David Kinsey – Not sure if boat would fit in any of the slips.
Steve Lowe – Inner larger slip should one become available.
New Business
Upcoming Club Events:
July 4th – Emerald Bay will have their annual fireworks. One group is scheduled for that Saturday evening, the other the evening of July 4th.
July 21th Social – To be held at True Vines Brewing Company in Tyler Texas.
August 12th Social – Ben Hooks will set up Saturday noon lunch similar to last years event.
