Old Business

Boat News:

The Morgan 28 IO is in the water awaiting it's mast to be stepped and some finishing up of motor details.

Emerald Bay Marina Facilities:

No currently known active negotiations are in progress. “A” dock continues to deteriorate in condition.

New Business

Race Trophy:

The provider of the hand painted trophy glasses is currently unavailable, however another provider of an engraved glass is available. Other options include a bur-gee for the winner of the race series, or a club trophy with the names of the winners engraved on brass plates that are added to the trophy each year. However the lack of a permanent facility would complicate that option.

Director Nominations:

Two directors positions expire this year, they are the positions of Rick Walker, and Lynn Easley. Nominations are accepted until the third Monday of December. Emails to the membership will be sent out in November.

Christmas Party:

The Christmas party will be held on the second Saturday of December, which is December 13th, at 6:00 at Emerald Bay Marina. Dana Adams will handle ordering the food. Suggested is a toy for “Toy's for Tots” and a small gift exchange for the club members at around a $5 value.

Annual Meeting:

The annual meeting is currently scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of January at a place to be determined later. The meeting will be open to all current, past, and prospective members.

Race Buoys:

Warren Lyon suggested adding starting line buoys. The club might have access to another buoy, Bob Pryor will check on that option, also John Owens will check on the cost of a new one.

Adjournment:

Motion by Warren Lyon. Seconded by Bob Pryor to adjourn. Approved.
