Our trip to the Caribbean started off from Guadeloupe to Isle de Saintes, with a sail by of the volcano on Montserat, and on to Antigua.  This first picture is an arial view of the western slope of Monserat's once capital city that was wiped out in the 1999 eruption that killed 17 people and the lava flow was clocked at 80 miles an hour (per the National Geographic Channel).  You will see several other shots in the slideshow of the islands south and eastern slopes as well as the steam coming up from the volcano.
